DG Paystub is independent and cannot retrieve Dollar General records. Portal access can end or change after separation, and no reliable public access period applies to every former employee.
Try the Current Authorized Route
At our August 30, 2026 review, the Money Network Pay Stub Portal for Dollar General displayed sign-in, registration, and account-recovery controls. If you previously used that portal:
- verify the full paystubportal.com address;
- follow the live re-registration or recovery notice;
- stop repeated attempts if the account locks; and
- download employer-issued records securely if access succeeds.
Do not rely on continued portal access as a permanent archive.
Request Records Through an Authorized Channel
If access has ended, ask for the current former-employee or payroll record-request process using:
- a contact in your separation or payroll documents;
- your former manager;
- Dollar General's authorized employee-support channel; or
- the latest official company material.
Dollar General's published 2024 Code of Conduct lists an Employee Response Center. Verify any contact details against the latest official document before sharing personal data. See the official Code of Conduct PDF.
Make a Focused Request
Include only what the authorized process requires:
- legal name used during employment;
- store or work location;
- approximate employment dates;
- requested pay periods;
- preferred secure delivery method; and
- a safe callback method.
Do not place a full Social Security number, password, one-time code, or bank credential in ordinary email. Ask how identity verification will be handled securely.
Keep the request, confirmation, and any employer response.
Federal Recordkeeping Context
The Fair Labor Standards Act requires covered employers to preserve specified payroll records, generally for at least three years, and certain wage-computation records for two years. That employer duty does not guarantee indefinite self-service portal access or require every record to be delivered in a particular format.
See the Department of Labor FLSA recordkeeping fact sheet. State access and pay-statement rules can add requirements; confirm them with the relevant state labor agency.
Final Pay
Federal law generally does not require an immediate final paycheck, although state law may require earlier payment. The Department of Labor recommends contacting the state labor department or Wage and Hour Division if the regular payday passes without payment. See the DOL final-pay guidance.
Preserve schedules, time records, the final statement, separation documents, and bank transactions.
Tax and Other Source Records
- The employer must follow applicable Form W-2 furnishing rules. See our Dollar General W-2 checklist.
- An IRS wage and income transcript can show certain prior-year information reported to the IRS, but it does not replace every pay-period statement.
- Bank statements can show deposits but may not identify every payroll component.
Ask the recipient which alternatives it accepts instead of assuming one document will work.
Personal Records Are Separate
A personal pay-record preview can organize genuine side-business or freelance figures. It cannot recreate an employer's official record, authenticate past employment, or substitute for records requested from Dollar General.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can every former employee still sign in?
No universal public access window is guaranteed. Try only the current authorized route, then use the record-request process if access has ended.
How long must payroll records be retained?
Federal FLSA rules generally require covered employers to retain specified payroll records for three years and certain computation records for two. State rules and other record types can differ.
What if I need a record urgently?
Tell the authorized payroll contact which periods are needed and ask the recipient whether it accepts an official W-2, bank record, tax transcript, or direct employer verification while the request is pending.
Should I email my full Social Security number?
Not by ordinary email. Ask the authorized organization for its secure identity-verification method.
Is this Dollar General's record-request page?
